[A Brief Self-Introduction]
Hello, my name is Tatsuya Dejima. I was born and raised in Kyoto, and now I’m involved in creative expression through music and various events.
My roots are in composition, and my main instrument is the guitar. I explore “sound” using slightly unconventional methods, such as playing by striking the keys with both hands like a piano, or using a violin bow. Having worked for many years as a research and development engineer at a company, it’s become natural for me to grasp the laws of nature from a mathematical and scientific perspective and apply that to social contribution activities, including art.
But, putting aside the difficult stuff, I usually live a very ordinary life, cherishing time with my mother and family, and worrying about pruning the grapes and kiwis in my garden.
Here and in the online salon, I write about my daily creative life and small daily observations. Whether you’re interested in the world of expression or simply curious about “someone who lives a slightly interesting life,” I would be delighted if you would connect with me as a friend. P.S. I specialize in deriving theories, papers, and mathematical philosophies that use the mathematical formulas of chaos theory and quantum mechanics to express the evolution from the creation of the universe. For more details, please see my past blog posts.
