化野念仏寺の千灯供養です。このイベントは遺族（特に流産、死産、子どもや身内との早すぎるお別れ）の悲しみを分かち合う機会となっています。一万体近いお地蔵さんをみると同じような境遇の方々が沢山おられることが実感でき心が楽になります。悲しい出来事もまた自然の流れでの一つあり自分だけに起こっているわけではないと思うことでグリーフケアにもなる観光スポットです。僕も大切な人にろうそくをあげてきました。
This is the Sento Kuyo (Sento Memorial Service) at Adashino Nenbutsuji Temple. This event is an opportunity to accept and share the grief of bereaved families (especially those affected by miscarriage, stillbirth, and untimely farewells). I have also offered candles to loved ones. Seeing the nearly 10,000 Jizo statues brings me peace of mind, as I realize that there are many people out there in similar situations. This makes it a tourist spot that also serves as a form of grief care.
